I feel as if I have been struggling with writers block. I think it is behind me.
This is a study for a larger piece - as I struggled with the shading in the yellow, I gave up the struggle and tried different approaches. Once the technical part was over I was able to fully enjoy the process. A space I love to be in.
I took a photo of a flower at the local nursery - while trying to think of a title for the piece I realized if I'm going to be doing all sorts of flowers - I better learn the names. The title for this piece describes it well - wouldn't you agree?
