Angel of Grief

How can I explain or even begin to describe, the pain we have all experienced in one form or another. The Grief of lost hope and promises unfulfilled.
The trauma and pain of a relationship severed suddenly, without closure or last good byes. The lonely nights and the empty bed.
Harsh cruel words spoken, only to be forgotten and replaced, by the gentle caress of lost love. Fighting the desire to call or search my love out! Only to remember there is no escape from our fighting and my feeling of suffocation of being trapped in my own home.
Losing a part of me that can never be regained, my naivete. The trust lost, but with time I will once again regain.

Angel of Grief is an 1894 sculpture by William Wetmore Story which serves as the grave stone of the artist and his wife at the Protestant Cemetery, Rome.

A Jar of Tulips

I am so pleased with this painting. I love how the back lighting creates a glow to the flowers, and the contrast of the light and dark. Tulips are probably one of my favorite flowers, and they are simply displayed in this glass jar, yet they look so elegant.

Step 4
The printed pieces were cut into one inch strips
